- Toussaint Louverture Elementary Students, participating in the Miami Music Project, performed for the Key Biscayne Women's Giving Circle at the Arsht Center during their Award Ceremony on February 28, 2013.
- Inauguration of the Toussaint Louverture Playground and Basketball courts took place on Tuesday, March 19, 2013.
- Five Members of The South Florida Football Officilas Association visited the school on April 1, 2013. They provided each student a packet of classroom supplies. In addition, the students learned some valuable information about foot ball and the career of referees and officials.
